Scooby Doo and the gang are back in town by popular demand with even more spooky mystery and fun in their brand new stage show, Scooby Doo – The Mystery Of The Pyramid at Theatre Royal Brighton from Tue 29 Jul–Sat 2 Aug.

Scooby-Doo, Shaggy, Fred, Velma and Daphne journey through Egypt in their brightly coloured mystery machine, on a mission to solve the Mystery Of The Pyramid. Easy you say? Not if the gang has to deal with mysterious mummies, plus the wrath of the pharaoh who will transform anyone who dares to approach the pyramid… into stone! With 90 minutes of hilarious physical comedy, popular tunes and special effects, this is a musical adventure for the whole family.


Eddie Arnold (Jumpy, Royal Court Theatre, Arcadia, Camden People’s Theatre) will lead the cast as Scooby Doo, accompanied by Danny Stokes (Silk, BBC, Our Day Out, Leicester Haymarket Theatre) as his comic sidekick, Shaggy. The Mystery Inc.

gang comprises: Julia Cave (Joseph And The Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat, UK Tour, ©Sincerely Mr Toad UK Tour) in the role of Daphne, Louise Wright (Blackout, Theatre West, The 24 Hour Plays, The Roughhouse Theatre/ Bath Theatre Royal) as Velma, and Josh Little (Dreamcoats And Petticoats, UK Tour, Footloose, European Tour) playing Fred.

They will be joined by actors Douglas Walker as Otto, Stuart Vincent as Ben, Eleanor O’Grady as Mira, and Philip Quigley as understudy and resident Dance Captain.

The UK tour of Scooby-Doo – The Mystery Of The Pyramid runs until 31st August. The show is produced by Warner Bros & Chas Elliott for CTI PRODUCTIONS in association with Jean-Marc Dumontet. It was originally produced by JMD Productions in Paris, France in October 2012.
