Snap shots: This week: Carol Cleveland “Pom Poms Up”

“Pom Poms Up is an autobiography, but primarily it is my show business story. I write about the people closest to me and the exciting people I have had the pleasure – or not – of working with over the years. And of course a large proportion of the book is devoted to my time spent with the Monty Python boys! I hope to entertain, amuse and surprise people.

I am now rehearsing for the show Monty Python Live (Mostly) and it is so exciting, it is great to be with the boys again.

This time we have a big stage with dancers and singers and some big musical numbers. It is going to be fantastic!”

Carol Cleveland, the actress also known as the 7th Python, launched her first book Pom Poms Up this month – an excellent showbiz biography, warm, humorous and surprisingly engaging. The story of the happy and sad moments of her exciting career, full of interesting star-studded anecdotes, Pom Poms Up is available for download as well as in local stores and Amazon. Carol is also starring in Monty Python Live (Mostly) this month at London’s O2 arena. The wacky comedians get together again to perform their classic sketches live on stage, as well as new material that will take their fans by surprise. Tickets are still available.
