The Mousetrap

“What’s all the fuss about?” my imagination heard you cry. Well, lots as it happens. This is without doubt Christie’s masterpiece. There isn’t much I can tell you about the plot – tradition forbids it. But there is a murder (no, really?!) or two with the story culminating at Monkswell Manor Guest House, a newly opened establishment run by Mr and Mrs Ralston. The characters are slightly ‘cookie cutter’-ish and could be transplanted into any number of Christie plots. But the production is slick and professional, the cast are superb, and are a credit to the play’s history. Catch it while you can!
