Property News: David Wilson Homes donate £1,000 for School Science Equipment

Storrington First School in West Sussex were delighted to receive £1,000 this week, to put towards new science equipment – a donation from local property developer David Wilson Homes who are building their new Millford Grange development nearby.

The science equipment focuses on wildlife and nature, with a science habitat centre of tadpoles, butterflies, insects and plants. The donation will also be used to create information and guidance signs around the environmental area of the school.

Mrs Marion Smith, Head Teacher for Storrington First School, said, “This generous donation is a wonderful surprise. A science habitat will help to further enhance the school and will provide many additional learning opportunities into wildlife and nature for all of our pupils. We are thrilled to receive this donation, and are now eager to set up our new science project as soon as possible.”

Lynnette St Quintin, Sales and Marketing Director of David Wilson Homes, commented, “It was a pleasure to be able to support Storrington First School on something that is so worthwhile in the ongoing development of their pupils. I hope the new science equipment gives the pupils a real insight into nature and our local wildlife, and we look forward to seeing the science department once it has all been completed.”

David Wilson Homes’ Millford Grange development is situated on Storrington Road, close to the picturesque village of Storrington, amid the broad panoramas of the South Downs National Park. Millford Grange brings to the market a selection of two, three, four and five bedroom premier homes that offer traditionally inspired architecture, and are ideally located. The coastal resort of Worthing is just 15 minutes’ drive away, and central London via London Victoria Station is just over an hour away, with a direct service from local stations Amberley andPulborough.

Currently available at Millford Grange is a selection of four and five bedroom family homes, ranging from £474,995 to £664,995.
