Scooby Doo – The Mystery Of The Pyramid
Transforming a much-loved children’s cartoon into a stage show is not without risk, sometimes it’s a formula that just won’t translate. This was certainly not the case of Scooby Doo – The Mystery Of The Pyramid which was a show cleverly adapted for the stage.
Combining physical comedy, roof-raising sing-along, excellent choreography and audience participation, with nods to contemporary culture and popular tunes Scooby Doo – The Mystery Of The Pyramid delivered on every level for ninety solid minutes.
Scooby, Shaggy, Fred, Daphne and Velma delighted the audience as they dealt with mysterious mummies, apparently bottomless tombs and the wrath of the Pharaoh towards the enviable denoument… meddling kids!
Mention must go to Danny Stokes whose perfect invocation of Shaggy was a show-stealer.
They say every dog has his day – not the case for majestic Great Dane Scooby and his mystery solving chums!
