Pensioner dies after falling from Brighton flat window

A pensioner has died after falling seven floors from the window of a flat in Brighton this morning (Thursday 31 July).

The man was found outside the Park Royal flats in Montpelier Road, Brighton, shortly before 9.45am.

Sussex Police said: “We got a call at 9.44am to the Park Royal flats in Montpelier Road.

“A man in his seventies had fallen from a seventh floor window and sustained fatal injuries.

“The circumstances are being investigated.

“The coroner has been informed.”
