Naked Boys Reading: Vanity

Pride began in great style. Fifty people crammed into this friendly venue, clutching our drinks and ready for entertainment. Naked Boys Reading is a serious literary event featuring unclothed men. Hostess, Dr Sharon Husbands, towering over us all in eight inch heels and glamorous drag, kept everything in good order. Paul Ryan introduced the readings of Ovid, Gore Vidal, Felice Picano and Christian McLaughlin. The nakedness of the boys (Ian, Alex, Ian and Alfie) may have attracted us to the event, but it was the quality of their readings that held our attention and brought us back from the bar.
