Brighton Beach ranked among the world’s best, by American broadcasters

It may not have a lot of sand but Brighton’s beach is one of the best in the world.

That’s at least according to American broadcaster CNN who were behind the less-than scientific new study.

The report into the world’s best city beaches ranked Brighton beach just behind the famed sandy stretches of Rio De Janeiro’s Ipanema, Bondi in Sydney and Waikiki in Honolulu.

The report praised the city’s seafront for its “hip urban energy” adding there was plenty of “visual stimulus” while it was blessed with superb eating, drinking and nightclubs.
