Teenage boy charged with knifepoint robbery in Brighton
A teenage boy has been charged with robbery after a mobile phone was stolen at knifepoint on Brighton seafront on Friday morning (8 August).
The phone was stolen from a 22-year-old man from Brighton who was with a group of friends in King’s Road.
Sussex Police said that the victim was threatened with a knife at about 6.30am on Friday.
A 16-year-old boy from Crawley has been charged with robbery and having an offensive weapon.
He was also charged with two burglaries in Surrey.
The boy appeared at Brighton Magistrates’ Court on Saturday (9 August) and has been remanded in custody.
