Easy Star All-Stars

The undisputed kings of the reggae cover version rolled back into Brighton to celebrate the tenth anniversary of the release of their seminal ‘Dub Side of the Moon’ album. After delving into the rest of their back catalogue to warm things up, the NYC collective launched headlong into a full rendition of their reworking of Pink Floyd’s classic album and it sounded as fresh and exciting as it did ten years ago. The band were able to fully bring the album to life in the live arena, with long improvised and experimental sections truly evoking the true spirit of the source material, whilst also remaining upbeat, soulful and joyful throughout.
