Oldest LGBT bar in Brighton under-fire for “gay-venue” sign

Brighton’s oldest gay venue has caused a stir after posting an “exclusive” sign outside.

The note outside the Bulldog in St James’s Street said: “This is a gay venue for gay clientele and their friends only”.

The sign has since been taken down.
