Missing Peacehaven boy found in Bedford

A missing boy from Peacehaven has been found safe and well in Bedford.

Reece Pateman, 13, left his home in Cissbury Avenue, Peacehaven, at dinnertime yesterday (Tuesday 19 August).

Sussex Police had started a search for the teenager who has a fascination for trains and buses as officers and family members grew concerned for his safety and welfare.

Officers made inquiries with bus and rail companies and the British Transport Police as part of their search.

The force said: “He was found at Bedford Railway Station car park shortly after 11am today (Wednesday 20 August).”
