Brighton man landed with £825 bill for fight
A man from Brighton has been landed with a bill for £825 after attacking another man in Hove last September.
Mike Hair, 30, of Upper Lewes Road, Brighton, denied beating up William Tully in Waterloo Street, Hove, 11 months ago.
But at Brighton Magistrates’ Court he was found guilty after a trial lasting nearly three hours last Friday (15 August).
Hair was fined £250 for the offence which took place just a couple of days before his 30th birthday.
He was also ordered to pay £50 in compensation, £500 in costs to the Crown Prosecution Service (CPS) and a £25 victim surcharge, making £825 in total.
