Brighton market trader has Deal or No Deal to thank for opening up her stall

Beth Whitehall has been making beautiful fairy dresses for more than 15 years.

When she heard that The Open Market, off London Road, Brighton, was due to re-open, she was desperate to finally have a permanent home for her fairy fashions.

But she didn’t have the capital needed to start-up her business.

One afternoon, she happened to come across information about how to apply to be a contestant on Deal or No Deal, and she thought “why not?”

And, much to her surprise, she was accepted!
