ART: Ocean Blues
The oceans are home to more than half of all life on earth, cover 70% of the earth’s surface and have supported life on our planet for millions of years, but the last century has seen the oceans devastated by the invention of plastics and industrialised methods of fishing. This new display looks at some of the threats to life in the oceans as well as initiatives designed to reduce or reverse the impact modern society has had on it.
