That’ll Be The Day
The musical juggernaut that is TBTD rolled in once again; more music, more costume changes, more fun. TBTD is a romp through the musical ages, effortlessly flitting from Motown, hard rock and country & western and all things in between. It’s slick, highly professional and highly polished. Even the occasional comedy skits are in keeping with the music; tongue in cheek, end of the pier stuff. Stewart Lee it isn’t, but it’s right for the show. And the audience lapped it up, every last drop. It’s clear the performers work extremely hard and it pays off. It’s a show for everyone, and there aren’t many of those around.
