An Evening With Sir Roger Moore

On tour to promote his latest book ‘Last Man Standing’, this evening was a one man double act with biographer Gareth Owen, prompting the legend to wax lyrical on his incredibly varied career. He showed himself to be a mischievous, very funny raconteur and talented mimic, as he took us through his long career from tea boy to The Saint and James Bond, via some cherry picked anecdotes on the many Hollywood stars he encountered from the 1950s onwards. With amazing recall, he veered off onto ever-interesting tangents that the enthusiastic audience lapped up. A fascinating evening with a charming legend.
