Brighton woman badly hurt in motorbike crash
A 23-year-old woman from Brighton was badly hurt in a motorbike crash in Southwick yesterday morning (Monday 22 September).
Sussex Police said that she suffered serious head and leg injuries.
The force said: “Police are appealing for witnesses to a collision between a car and a motorcycle which occurred at the junction of the A270 Old Shoreham Road and the B2167 Southview Road, Southwick.
“It happened just after 9am near roadworks.
“The motorcyclist, a 23-year-old woman from Brighton, suffered serious head and leg injuries.
“She had been riding a silver Suzuki GZ 125cc.
“She was taken to hospital and detained for treatment.
“The other vehicle involved was a silver Ford Fiesta, driven by a 35-year-old Shoreham woman, who was unhurt.”
