Holly Willoughby’s new baby, Ryan Callanan’s art show, Felicity Kendal, local boy Dan Ryan

Burgess Hill born TV presenter Holly Willoughby has added to her brood, with the birth of a baby boy last week. The bubbly blonde called into her regular show, ITV’s This Morning, to chat with co-presenter Phillip Schofield and revealed the name of the new tot – Chester William Baldwin.

Holly said: “He’s called Chester William Baldwin, it’s a name we’ve had for ages. When we had Harry we were umming and aaahing between Chester and Harry.”

Holly added that she’d had a water birth and called the new arrival “totally delicious”. Big congrats, Holly.

The show opens on Saturday 11 October at the Ink_d gallery on North Road in Brighton. Ryan brings his obsessive toy collecting to the fore in this show, unveiling a new technique which he calls Pressure Painting, where iconic characters from the artist’s toy collection including He-Man, Darth Vader and the Mutant Ninja Turtles are placed under extreme pressure and moulded with clear granular plastic, to create fused distortions of themselves.

Felicity Kendal on the 14.06 from London Victoria to Brighton. The Good Life and erstwhile Rear of the Year (yes, really) actress was performing in the city in Noel Coward’s Hay Fever.

Local talent
Local boy, actor Dan Ryan, is appearing on a small screen near you in a new series of the Sky 1 comedy drama Mount Pleasant.

Series 4 of the popular show, which also stars Sally Lindsay and comedian turned actor Bobby Ball, can be seen at 9pm on Tuesday.
