Brighton fire crews tackle kitchen fire
Fire crews from Brighton put out a fire in the kitchen of a property in Hollingdean last night (Sunday 26 October).
East Sussex Fire and Rescue Service said that firefighters were called to the blaze which started in an extractor fan at 9.40pm yesterday.
The fire service said: “Crews from Preston Circus attended an address in Roedale Road in Brighton.
“There was a fire in an extractor. They used two breathing apparatus, one hose reel jet and CO2.
“There are no reports of injuries. The fire was accidental.”
