Punched VI

This 6th outing of Touched Theatre’s popular puppetry evening for grown-ups showcased a wide range of exciting Brighton talent. The sell-out show featured film, animation and music as well as an eclectic mix of puppetry styles, with eight bittersweet, funny and highly entertaining acts. Alex Lehman’s ‘Disassociation!’ was heartbreakingly sad in exploring the loss of a lover, Herringbone Arts presented a hilarious sketch set at a school parent’s evening, Matt Rudkin’s ‘Waiting for Pebbles’ was quirkily original, and Baron Gilvran sang about the tortured mind of the artist. Highly recommended for those seeking more than just someone standing in front of a mic telling jokes.
