Band of Skulls

While gales battered Brighton’s seafront, another force of nature was busy entertaining those sheltered inside Concorde 2. Band of Skulls roared through a pulse-raising set in almost impeccable fashion, proving that good old fashioned rock and roll is still as relevant as it ever has been despite the best efforts of some of the newer crop of bands to prove otherwise. The trio packed a punch harder than a blow from Thor’s mighty hammer, combined with an infectious toe-tapping groove which oozed through every song. Tight, loud and proud – Band of Skulls really are growing into a premier live act.
