Remembering the fallen – Armistice day marked by service at the Hove war memorial
Thousands bowed their heads in Brighton and Hove to mark remembrance day.
People of all ages paid their respects to commemorate those who lost their lives in conflicts past and present – made even more poignant this year by the centenary of World War One.
In the city, veterans and politicians turned out at a number of services including an event at the war memorial in Hove.
