The Circle of Twelve – Yozo Hiroyama
While Charleston Farmhouse settles down for the winter, the intimate seclusion of the Folly Garden has the look of an oriental rockery, the tea tables tidied away, the fig tree severely pruned and the gravel cleared of shrubs. It is a sympathetic setting for Hiroyama’s installation which explores the seasons, months and combinations of twelve, with a reference to the suffering caused by Ebola. Twelve distinctive pots are displayed on a custom-built stand around the lily pond.
This elegant installation is a bonus attraction for intrepid Bloomburyists venturing into the deepest Sussex countryside over the weekends leading up to Christmas.
