Doom at the Comic Boom

Normally the last Thursday of every month I relish the blend of comic styles that come from a range of comedians of which I have never heard, but slowly sipping on my red wine near the back of Komedia, I felt like crawling even further back into the underground room so I could melt into the wall. The comedy style of Iain Stirling didn’t grab my attention greatly, his pace wasn’t that which I was used to for a headliner, but the general atmosphere also lacked the normal acceptable manner of comedy that makes me laugh out loud.
