TWENTY IS NOT PLENTY
It’s been an on-going issue, which has driven some residents and councilors in Brighton and Hove round the bend. And now a planned roll out of 20 mph to the city’s suburbs has been put on hold. Conservative and Labour voted to defer the proposals after criticizing the Green party’s “all or nothing” approach to the scheme. But it’s not the end of the potential rollout; the plans will be re-discussed in January.

WOULD YOU RUN THE RISK?
When you approach a level crossing, be it on foot or by car, your inclination would be to stop. But for many people in Sussex that is not the case and new figures reveal residents in the city are dicing with death. Officers have also been visiting schools to teach young people about when things can go wrong.

Packages containing dry goods, bakery foods and vegetables will soon be on the way to poverty charities in the city. Certainly food for thought.

That is until a campaign to raise thousands reached its target to kick-start renovations. With the centre opening its doors, Latest TV’s Mhairi Beveridge went along to find out how the new facilities were received by local residents.
