Brighton road revamp leaves motorists with nasty surprise

Brighton and Hove City Council has spent millions of pounds improving Edward Street for those on buses, bikes and on foot.

But there was one thing they havn’t done so well.

That’s because one of the speed bumps at the junction of Blaker Street is slowing down cars too well.

It’s so steep that cars and being damaged when they drive over it.

Council officials have now apologised and are now carrying out repairs.

But locals we spoke to remain unimpressed…
