Celebcity: Heather Mills on The Jump
Heather Mills on The Jump; Katie Price’s secret; Zoe Ball snapped up; celebrities spotted
Snow joke
Channel 4 saw the welcome return of car crash TV at its best, The Jump. Sussex was represented by winter paralympian Heather Mills, 47, who went head to head with Lady Victoria Hervey, Ashley Roberts and Made In Chelsea star Louise Thompson.
Heather competed in the terrifying downhill Skeleton event and unfortunately was pipped at the post by fellow competitors. The former model and winter sports star then faced a giant ski jump, and unfortunately lost again by literally inches. On the side, she didnt have far to go to rest her weary bones, as Heather has a pile in the Austrian Alps where the show is filmed.
Meanwhile, flipping over one Channel to Five, over at the Celebrity Big Brother house news reaches us that Katie Price’s hairdresser has been sneaked into the back door of the diary room to give the starlet ‘secret treatments’. Following in the footsteps of evictee Patsy Kensit, Katie has been receiving secret wash and blow dry sessions from stylist Mikey Kardashian (no relation). Not shown on camera, these pampering interludes were apparently written into the former glamour model’s CBB contract.
We put money on Pricey getting a sneaky San Tropez in the diary room too – NO CAMERAS!
Snapped!
Hove resident Zoe Ball has been snapped up by the BBC to host the aftermath show from the Eastenders set after Lucy Beale’s killer is finally revealed. The Strictly Come Dancing: It Takes Two presenter will be broadcasting live from Albert Square on 20 February – following the dramatic live episodes. Compulsive viewing for all the fans of the E20 soap.
SPOTTED!
Having a good nose around the mall, we saw hottest couple du jour, musician FKA twigs and Robert Pattinson.
This week we find ourselves working in London at the Boxpark pop-up mall in the mighty East End. Home to some of the coolest brands, Boxpark has been open since 2011, and for one week only, Brighton art institution artrepublic have a pop-up store featuring the work of the ‘Godfather of Street Art’ Ron English.
Ron, a legend of the art scene, has flown in from the US to launch a limited edition print with artrepublic, paint a huge mural at Boxpark and meet his legions of fans.
