The Octonauts and the Deep Sea Volcano Adventure
For anyone aged under 7 years old this show had everything to send them into a frenzied revelry. For those of you without the need to keep a child quite at 5am The Octonauts is a CBeebies cartoon about an underwater rescue team of animals (think Thunderbirds in the ocean) and to children it’s like catnip. The live show (like the cartoon) is a nice balance of colourful fun, a bit of oceanic education and ‘on the brink of disaster’ plots. It’s not just been thrown together to make a quick shilling, the set and costumes look decent and the actors work hard to keep the audience engaged. Good family entertainment.
