The 2015 Mid Summer Ball, famed for its Strictly Come Dancing theme, sees the return of local TV and radio star Zoe Ball as Head Judge. Along with her panel, she will help score those brave enough to take part in the dance competition in front of nearly 500 guests.
Four celebrities and local personalities will be attempting The Charleston 1920s inspired dance with a Great Gatsby theme, with their expert partners. This year’s dancers are Eleanor Harris, Chief Executive of the Brighton i360 tower, Barry Carden, Managing Director of Cardens Accountants in Hove, and Heart Sussex Breakfast Show co-hosts Nicola Hume and Tom Evans.
The annual event will be raising money for Hilton in the Community Foundation, which helps young people have a brighter future in Brighton, across the UK and Europe, and Rockinghorse Children’s Charity who are the official fundraising arm of the Royal Alexandra Children’s Hospital in Brighton.
