“Hawk” flown in to deter seagulls from Brighton’s Royal Pavilion

For those of you who are fed up of Seagulls, here’s a novel trick to scare them away.

A kite shaped like a hawk is currently fluttering around in Brighton’s pavilion gardens.

The ingenious deterrent was put there in a bid to stop gulls from digging up the newly laid lawn.

And judging from the response when we visited earlier, it seems to be doing the trick.
