Dozens take to Brighton streets in protest against homelessness

Dozens of people marched through Brighton today in protest against the treatment of rough sleepers.

Marchers gathered at Old Steine before parading around the city centre.

It ended near the Palace Pier wityh a two minute silence for well-known rough sleeper Dr Geebers, who lost his battle with depression earlier this year.

It was organised by OpSafe Brighton and Brighton in Need with the aim of putting homelessness on the political agenda.

And we caught up with some of those marching to fin out why they took to the streets
