I Am Kloot

After seven albums, I Am Kloot is releasing and touring a greatest hits package (or, more accurately, a ‘fan favourites’ collection owing to their bewildering lack of commercial success) in the form of a live album.
Despite the simple set up of acoustic guitar, bass and drums, their sound easily fills the Concorde2 – soaring out into a sold out, beery, Friday night crowd, with John Bramwell’s voice high in the mix lending a very intimate, almost confessional atmosphere.

“You’ll have to be my accordions and trumpets tonight,” he implored, as the whole crowd obligingly raised the roof and then kept it there.
