Evelyn Day of Chocadyllic celebrates two years in business
Local Hove businesswoman Evelyn Day of Chocadyllic celebrated two years in business in true rock ’n’ roll style. She started Chocadyllic in February 2013 a few months after making “a proper chocolate cake” for her friend’s birthday. She now has a successful business hand-crafting luxury bespoke chocolate creations.
The celebration took place at the Hotel Pelirocco on Wednesday evening, 22 April. The talk of the evening was Evelyn’s new showpiece of Brighton Pavilion in chocolate. Standing nearly one meter tall it is a chocolate, architectural delight with delicate railings, handcrafted pillars, all with meticulous detail and all in chocolate, it also has little lights glowing from the inside. Evelyn’s background in art and design, architecture, illustration and web design influences her creations. Her edible art pieces vary from graphic design style to fine art with flair. All of her creations are handcrafted and the best thing about her pieces is they taste as good as they look.
Evelyn said, “I had a wonderful time. Here’s to another year filled with chocolate, chocolate architecture, chocolate art, chocolate cake and, chocolate!”
