The Christeene Machine

This cross-dressing zombie dance act from Texas was the perfect election night distraction. Entering slung over one of her two backing dancers’ shoulders, with balloons attached to her back passage, Christeene delivered an in-your-face performance that nobody present will forget for some time. With references from Tennessee Williams to Jay Z, the sleazy rap songs were complimented by slick dance moves, seamless costume changes, filthy banter and a lot of naked flesh. We may have been covered with toilet rolls and bodily fluids but this was all part and parcel of a brave and thoroughly entertaining show. Disgustingly delightful.
