Wide load causes delays on Sussex roads

Parts of our city came to a standstill today – the reason?

Well it was due to an extremely large load making it’s way from Shoreham Harbour to Newhaven.

Even with a police escort, it took more than four hours to complete the journey.

Police officers apologised for the delay – and thanked motorists for their patience.
