Brighton council chief: “Traveller encampments will increase this summer”

Traveller encampments are to become more common across the city this summer.

The warning came from council chiefs after they confirmed the temporary transit site will be shut for expansion work.

With no immediate alternative, they admitted this increases the chances of encampments in parks.
