Reginald D Hunter – The Man Who Attempted To Do As Much As Such

Mr Hunter sauntered onto the stage for the last show in his national tour, clearly at ease and by the end a little self-indulgent, but still his bright, curious and philosophising self, pondering questions of race, relationships, and his own origin story… and how a white BBC crew might affect it. Pearls of wisdom mix with the odd chasm of naiveté and wonder, and at heart this is simply a very personal take on the big wide world well executed and articulated. You don’t have to agree with Reginald to enjoy his pontificating, and the spark in his eye implies that really he’s just happy to have your attention, laughter and grey matter at work.
