Top Hat
This award-winning show captures the essence of 1930s screwball comedies and high society elegance. The plot involves mistaken identities and allows the show to globe-trot from Broadway to London to Venice. There is so much to enjoy with flowing gowns, Art Deco sets and some of Irving Berlin’s most-loved tunes. The phenomenal Alan Burkitt and the magical Charlotte Gooch are perfectly matched as star-crossed lovers and their dancing is flawless as they lead the cast in big production numbers such as ‘Cheek To Cheek’ and ‘Putting On The Ritz’. Eastbourne is the last stop for this tour, so hurry or you’ll miss out on a treat.
