Buses: Get On Board

Brighton & Hove Buses the only way to travel This week: Legoland Windsor

Throughout the month of August we’re heading on up to Legoland – an easy and direct way to get there. There are 4 dates to choose from:
Wednesday 5th August
Wednesday 12 August
Wednesday 19 August
Wednesday 26 August
Younger children will love Legoland, but there’s plenty to interest all ages. You could set sail through unchartered waters to make a splash, set sail on perilous swashbucklin’ adventure to Pirate Shores, or battle your way through on ancient land in search of hidden treasure.
Legoland Windsor Resort has also welcomed the new Royal baby – in miniature – into the Lego Royal family at its world famous Miniland attraction. Miniland, made from nearly 40 million pieces, recreates scenes from the USA and Europe, all bustling with sounds, traffic, trains and boats.
The Resort’s talented Model Making team have created a minute 7cm tall double buggy for the tiny Lego Royal baby created from just 3 bricks, and her big brother, Prince George a toddler sized 24 brick mini-lander. The new Royal in her mini carriage has taken up pride of place alongside Lego versions of the traditional birth announcement sign and the wider Royal family in a celebratory scene at the staggeringly accurate 35,000 brick Buckingham Palace.

Princess Charlotte is joined by immediate family, the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge and Prince George, as well as both sets of grandparents – the Duke and Duchess of Cornwall, and Michael and Carole Middleton. Also in attendance are her great-grandparents, Her Majesty the Queen and the Duke of Edinburgh – as well as the Queen’s beloved corgis.
There is an exciting new land called Heartlake City at the resort. Heartlake City has a lot to offer including Olivia’s House – explore Olivia’s home with interactive builds and delights in every room. Travel on the Heartlake City Express for a gentle train ride around the park and Heartlake Shopping Mall. Not forgetting an all new live show spectacular – Lego Friends to the Rescue at the Heartlake Harbour arena… watch out for the Lego Dolphins!
There’s also an all-new feel to the Lego City area this year with re-vamped, bigger and better Lego City Driving School and Coastguard HQ. Not forgetting Pirate Shores featuring Castaway Camp, the splash-tastic Duplo Valley, Atlantis Submarine Voyage and the Dragon Rollercoaster (or the Dragon’s Apprentice for littler ones).
With over 55 family friendly rides and attractions to discover in 150 acres of beautiful parkland ‘awesome awaits’ at the Legoland Windsor Resort.
