Brighton father jailed for attacking his 6 week old son

A Brighton man has been jailed after viciously assaulting his six-week old baby boy.

Benjamin Reeve of Dorset Gardens was sentenced to 12 and a half years imprisonment at Lewes Crown Court having previously pleaded guilty to GBH in 2013.

The child received two fractures to the skull and multiple fractures to the ribs after the 22 year old smashed him against the wall.

The court heard how Reeve had taken cannabis the night before.
