The Bootleg Beatles

You could argue that ‘The Bootlegs’ started the whole cover band genre all those years ago. Their template (four costume changes representing four distinct periods of The Beatles career) has been copied and regurgitated by other hum drum acts and although the format is a little clichéd now they are still the best by far. It does help when you have a great horn and cello section to back you up as well. Disappointingly there were a few microphone gremlins in the first half which obviously blocked some of those wonderful 2/3/4 part harmonies. But by the second half all was well, the hits kept coming and the place was rocking. Professional, slick and classy. A splendid time is guaranteed for all!!!
