Brighton woman arrested on suspicion of arson

A 29 year old woman from Brighton has been arrested on suspicion of arson.

Police were called to an address in Marine Parade at around 10:50pm on Saturday after reports someone was trying to set fire to a house.

The flames were out on arrival but burn marks could be seen on the front door.

Sarah Cornford, of Upper Chalvington Place appeared in court yesterday and released on bail to appear at Lewes Crown Court on September 17th.
