DV8 Sussex Open Day

On Thursday 3rd September, 4pm – 8pm, Dv8 Sussex’s Brighton centre will open its doors to give you the chance to see what they do.

Dv8 know that not every young person decides what they want to do next year before the summer begins so they are giving you the chance to visit their Brighton centre at the start of September and get a flavour of what they do and how they do it. Offering a range of creative vocational courses in Media, Music, Fashion and Live Events, Dv8 Sussex are committed to giving young people the chance to explore their chosen field and give opportunities to gain real world experience whilst learning. The Open Day will give you the opportunity to take a tour of the centre including its facilities and equipment, to meet their wonderful and exciting tutors who bring a wealth of real industry experience to the courses, and to ask any questions you might have about Dv8 and the course you are interested in. Everyone between the ages of 15 – 18 is invited to come along and parents, carers, family and friends are all very welcome too. Dv8 also offer an Advanced Level 3 Apprenticeship in Digital Marketing giving young people the chance to be placed with a range of exciting local businesses and earn whilst they learn! On Wednesday 2nd September, 11am – 1pm the college is running an Apprenticeship Candidate Session open to anyone interested in the Apprenticeship programme who wants to find out more information from their experienced Apprenticeship team. Open to people aged 16 – 23 who do not already have a qualification higher than a Level 3 (A-Levels are fine), the programme is the perfect start for work in an exciting industry and a great alternative to university.
