Michael McIntyre: Happy And Glorious
Happy And Glorious was the name of the tour and Michael McIntyre absolutely delivered on that promise. Opening up the evening with videos of his fans doing impressions of him was a great start to the evening. An interactive but unobtrusive comedian always goes down a storm. McIntyre has an air of likability about him, his jokes are not too risqué but hit home with everyday life, so everyone can relate and ultimately laugh at themselves. Selling out four nights at the Brighton Centre is no easy feat, let alone filling such a large space with presence and energy but McIntyre pulled it off. There were no awkward silences, McIntyre definitely stays safe with his content but it was 100 per cent funny from beginning to end.
