[data]storm

[data]storm is the second offering from creative computer science education organisation ‘readysaltedcode’. I felt this fusion of formal ballet and concepts from computer science and internet theory was less of a synthesis and more of a grafting. While the visuals were very impressive (I was completely captivated by two stick figure graphics dancing together) the seam between the two worlds meeting was a jagged one. The lighting, costume and score were exceptionally well executed, although more thought needs to be put into the spaces between the vignettes so there is more continuity and cohesion; abruptly ended music is jarring!
