Controversial former councillor applies for Brighton and Hove council chief post

The search for a new city council chief is still ongoing.

The role is currently vacant after former boss Penny Thompson left the post with a six figure payoff.

And one of those who believes he can succeed her is controversial former councillor Ben Duncan.
