Romeo and Juliet

New Mutiny Theatre Company blew everyone away with their fresh adaptation of William Shakespeare’s Romeo and Juliet. This was a very special performance, which was adapted for younger audiences from the age of six upwards and had all the ingredients for a show that was engaging, hilarious and sensitively portrayed.

The way each performer brought the text to life, whilst tying in a loose structure of Emily’s broken home as a sub plot (beautifully handled by Millie Corser) was a clever way of introducing kids to the Bard.

Highlights also included Juliet (Bethan Nash) and Romeo (Callum McIntyre).
