Although the summer season has disappeared, the festive season is soon to be upon us. If you didn’t know already, we at Brighton & Hove run regular coaching trips all over the country to some of the most famous British locales so it’s the ideal time to think about Christmas excursions.
While you’re wistfully remembering the holidays of summer past and looking forward to those in the future, why not use the time at present to book a trip to the historic Rochester Dickens Festival? The town has a Christmas extravaganza with street entertainment, musicians and costumed characters performing for you. With marvellous parades, processions and magical stalls filled with Christmas fare, you’ll feel like you’ve been transported back to the world of A Christmas Carol!

If a shopping spree is more your style, we have three trips up to markets and shopping centres where you can get your presents. First up is our London Christmas Shopping trip – shop until you drop in fantastic name brand stores such as Selfridges, John Lewis, Liberty’s and of course the world famous Harrods. For something more traditional, head to the Winchester Christmas Market where the city is transformed into a German inspired Christmas bazaar. Check out the rustic wooden chalets, the festive foods and decorations and enjoy a skate on the open air ice rink to really get into the Christmas spirit!
