Michael Legge – Tell It Like It Is, Steve

Michael ‘Mr Angry’ Legge was in remarkably good spirits, kicking off with a bear trap of a wrongness-style singalong and fostering a feeling of comradery from the off. Gently mocking the formula for award-winning shows with a knowingness that rang more of having been around for a while rather than any sour grapes, Legge embraced and guided the raucous atmosphere of the evening with style and a smile. Taking us on a journey of retreat to Corfu “to write” and the dangers of meeting your heroes, Legge firmly took these tropes and broke them down to the reality of outrageous cocktails and constant embarrassing faux pas. He’s funny, passionate, easy going, and above all true. Thank you Mr Legge.
